Know More About Angelfish

Angelfish have a tall body profile and elegant fins, so aquarium height and swimming space deserve particular attention. A mature group needs considerably more room than a juvenile display suggests.

They are omnivorous freshwater cichlids and can work in suitable community aquariums, but territorial behaviour and the size of tank mates should be considered. Very small fish may not be appropriate companions as angelfish mature.

A planted, well-maintained aquarium with stable warm water and vertical space can showcase angelfish particularly well. Introduce compatible livestock with the adult fish in mind.
