Know More About Goldfish

Goldfish are often sold as beginner fish, but their eventual size and waste production make planning important. The aquarium should be selected for the adult fish, not for the small size seen at purchase.

Strong biological filtration, generous swimming room and regular water-quality maintenance are central to keeping goldfish successfully. Different goldfish varieties can also have very different adult shapes and space requirements.

Before buying, confirm the variety, expected adult size and the aquarium volume you can provide. Avoid treating a small bowl as a long-term home.
