Know More About Neon Tetra

Neon Tetras are small schooling fish, so their needs are different from those of a solitary ornamental fish. A stable aquarium with a proper group, gentle flow and open swimming space is more appropriate than keeping only one or two fish.

They suit planted community aquariums and benefit from consistent water quality. Their small size also means tank mates should be selected carefully so the tetras are not stressed or treated as prey.

For a new setup, establish the aquarium before adding the school and keep maintenance consistent. Stable conditions matter more than chasing a single “perfect” water number.
